Wild animals.
In the study of the impact of the project, on the page 226, GED tells us that "the txo-metre high fence around the ICPE site will prevent the entrance of most big mammals such as wild boars, deer the European hare ...".
They forget to mention that the valley of Cohignac, which would be entirely blocked by the fence, is an ecological corridor linking the forest of Pontcallech (near Plouay) with that of Conveau (in the Black Moutains). This passage also goes through the Forest of Lochrist (Ploërdut) and the valley of Aër (Saint-Tugdual).
Wild boars, espacially pass this way in big numbers in November and December, attracted by the females on heat from the herd run by the ESAT (Centre of Social Insertion through Work).
The fence proposed dy GED will force these animals along the two neighbouring roads,
especially along the D790 road, and this will represent an important danger to the animals and the motorists.
